1879 RARE PLATING STUDY An attractive & possibly unique plating study presented on sleeved pages ready to exhibit. We see the Second (1879) "Esculas" issue, 10c blue and 10c deep blue, continuously overprinted in one line twice, SG 85, 85a, a superb used study on three typed up pages (in English) with a horizontal strip of four (the largest strip of these known), two strips of three, five pairs, and four very scarce vertical pairs, these showing the arrangement of the different transfers in the sheet.
