Weight: less than 10 grams (simple rate letter)

Tarifs: 50 centimes paid in France (two 25 centimes stamps) for 1.7.1871 reduced direct rate to U.S. + 10 cents paid in U.S. for the incoming steamship rate

Postmarks: black "N.Y. STEAMSHIP/date/10" to show the amount to be paid (10 cents)
