HISTORICAL EARLY 1900'S POSTAL HISTORY, STATIONERY & RELATED EPHEMERA COLLECTION a most interesting circa 1902 displayed in a "Newspaper Cuttings" book, packed with a fascinating and original collection of world wide 19th century to early 1900's covers and cards etc, note a series of delightful European picture postcards depicting stamp subjects, incl. Newfoundland 2c Cod on end of a fishing line , Swiss produced classic stamp postcards, Liebig stamp illustrated trade cards showing various countries incl. pretty China and Japan, Switzerland 1901 Canton of Lucern 5rp and 10rp letter sheets with embossed stamps, Sierra Leone 1900 1d envelope with Southampton Ship Letter cds, Canada 1855 envelope to England with fine "Pkt Letter Paid Liverpool" in red, Tasmania 1901 envelope with Pictorial ½d and 2d each with "A" perfins from Hobart, France c. 1870 "Par Ballon Monte" printed letter sheet, various Germany and States/Colonies incl. Hanover 1855 entire letter with 1g tied blue Luneburg cds, stationery with unusual and not regularly seen material, Great Britain again with 1841 2d on entire, some nice stationery, Although the majority of the collection is partially or fully stuck down, and with some age staining in places, it is still a wonderful artifact to browse and enjoy, and is doubtful that many other similar types of collection have survived !
