The NT$2.00 stamp takes Epinephelus tauvina (Forsskal) as the main design, with a close-up view in the upper right corner that shows the cultivation of fish in an inshore area.

The NT$18.00 stamp depicts Saurida undosquamis (Richardson) complete with a fishing net of larger mesh. This illustration encourages fishermen to leave young fish so that they can multiply.
