Mr. Mohammad Ali Jahangir is an alert and keen stamp collector and Auctioneer. He is also a collector-cum-International dealer. He has a philatelic office-cum-shop in D. H. A. Karachi Pakistan.He is President of Pakistan Philatelic & Numismatic Society ( PPNS ).
He is publishing a philatelic magazine on stamps and philately and other hobbies. He was also associated with the first IR Persia Stamp Exhibition in Karachi. He personally organized a stamp exhibition in Karachi, viz. Unipex 95. He also runs a service called ‘Service for Pakistan Collectors’. In this service, he encourages all collectors to ask questions about background and details of Pakistan postage stamps and postal stationeries. Questions may be asked only on the e-mail or social media. He is very active in social media. Also work for humanity.
He has written many articles on philately in general, especially on Pakistan stamps, in magazines and newspapers, which have greatly contributed to introducing and promoting Pakistan stamps and philately. He has participated in different exhibitions in Pakistan and others countries since Year 2000, exhibiting different subjects on which he received Gold, Vermeil & Silver awards, He has represented Pakistan as Commissioner for Pakistan in various exhibitions. Mr. MAJ was closely associated with the publication of the book, “Fifty years of Pakistan stamps” by Mr. M. J. Zahedi. He is life member of Philatelic Federation of Pakistan and member executive committee Stamp Society of Pakistan. He is also member of International Bank Note Society. He is President Pakistan Philatelic & Numismatic Society and Human Group.
