New York transit on front (Jan 2, 1880) and extremely scarce CORREOS DE LA REPUBLICA MEXICANA-VAPOR CITY OF MERIDA cachet in violet. Reverse with Vera Cruz cds (Jan 27). A rare cover. SG 153.
