1840-1910 OLD TIME COLLECTION A delightful "Old Time" mint & used collection presented in a green "OPPEN's" printed Stamp Album. Unpicked ranges from countries right across the World, some adhered to pages (as was the way before stamp hinges), some mixed condition with the original collector not being too worried about quality. On inspection we note an 1840 1d black with 3 margins & just brushing margin at base, later surface printed to 1s used, 2s6d mint & jubilee values mint to 1s, KEVII used to 1s & mint to 2s6d, useful 19th Century European country "Classic" ranges, USA 1890s & 1900s to 50c plus Latin American range, also covers, cards & postal stationery items slipped between the pages, an old envelope stuck to the inside front cover containing GB 1840 penny blacks inc one on piece, 1d reds & 2d blues etc. An interesting collection with much to salvage with care (1500+ stamps) For more images, please visit https://www.sandafayre.com/itemdetails.aspx?s=579100
