Carr, gold medal winner in the 400m and 4x400m relay, sent the day after the Games by a spectator in LA to Switzerland (possibly by a member of the Swiss Olympic Committee as the message finishes "Must prepare myself for Athens, April 1933", possibly for the IOC meeting which actually happened in Athens in 1934).
