VICTORIA LAND British Antarctic Expedition 1907-09 - incoming picture postcard, posted 28th November 1908, franked 1d Universal (fault) and addressed to a fictitious recipient at “King Edward's Land / South Pole,” two line cachet “NOT KNOWN AT / KING ED-VII LAND” struck in violet with similar manuscript endorsement at top, Christchurch "UNCLAIMED" octagonal datestamp of “4-DEC 1908” struck in red.
