1898-1981 MINT & USED COLLECTION presented in a pair of "Rapkin" multi ring albums, includes a useful range of mint & used "Universal Penny" issues incl. some overprinted "OFFICIAL," 1909-27 block of 20 with over-inking along top row of five, 1909-16 KEVII mint & used set, 1915-30 mint set plus later typograph printings, 1926-34 both 2s & 3s printings, 1935-6 Pictorials mint set plus 1936-42 to 3s value, KGVI to 3s mint & used, 1953-9 & 1955-9 mint sets plus shades, quantity of counter coil gutter pairs, 1958 2d on 1½d ERROR surch. on SG 725 (cat.£130) very fine mint, 1960-6 NHM set plus counter coil gutter pairs, continues with issues to 1981 $5 SG 1105. Collection also includes exploded booklets and a quantity of identified minor varieties in mint/NHM blocks, from 1967-70 & 1970-6 issues. Some mixed condition on earlies, later are generally very fine, huge cat. value (1100+ stamps + over 50 variety blocks).
