1881 - 1930 SPLENDID CLASSIC PRINTINGS AND CANCELLATIONS, CAT £40,000+. A large modern stockbook containing a rather tremendous collection of chiefly used classic stamps. The small Crown and Kuris types (1200+ also 4 on covers) from the sharply- printed 1881 issues onwards, the pin-perforated types, some multiples and many with rather impressive cancellations (the vast majority of the these small Crown and Kuris stamps are from the earlier printings and do not have telegraph cancels.) Arranged by value with a specialist note here & there this fascinating lot allows the opportunity to display these stamps with the changes of impression, colour & papers together, the collection also includes the (½a) tall Bow and Arrow and Kuris black types (450+) both imperf & pin-perf incl tete-beche pairs, multiples to full sheets and the scarce red-orange (very fine).
