1918 TO 1921 FIRST DESIGNS - A SPECIALISTS COLLECTION. A spectacular collection on 34 pages of mint and used stamps including blocks and other multiples of the first "Arms" design stamps from the 1918 5k values on map paper, the 1919 (Jan) imperfs & perfs on lined paper, 1919 (Feb- Aug) imperfs & perfs on transparent paper, 1919 (Mar - Jly) on watermarked paper, 1919 (Nov) 3r & 5r bi-coloureds & the 1920-21 issue. Amongst much else we see complete or partial reconstructions of the different sub-types on the 1919 lined paper 5k carmines, 10k deep blues & 15k greens both imperf & perforated, also examples from all 3 values identified by plate position and a complete imperf sheet of 100 15k greens cancelled-by-favour ; 1919 transparent papers include the 25k greys both mint & used in two different shades plus blocks and panes with sub-types identified & individual stamps identified by pane & position; and onwards with different perforation varieties & a few varieties such as the 1919 3r with misplaced Arms etc. A fascinating & very fine collection (800+ stamps) For more images, please visit https://www.sandafayre.com/itemdetails.aspx?s=616917
