1894/1896, 1st Sinojapanese war: stampless military mail covers with vermillion military mail postmarks, mostly still w. contents: No. 5 FPO. No. 12 FPO (2), No. 14 FPO (7), No. 15 FPO; also inbound from Japan (2, one stamp faults) w.transits No. 5 FPO and arrival No. 12 FPO resp. arrival unclear. Also two 1 sen cards with return addresses from war theatre but postmarked on arrival at Akamagaseki. - Plus vermilion military marks of "No. 2 Taiwan FPO (Taipei) on three covers w. 2 sen carmine, all faults by opening. All with detailed description of postmarks, military units and addresses of sender/receiver. Total 16 covers, two cards.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
