2/6 purple-brown in a complete sheet of 40 with full margins, u/m mint, even in the margins! The GB stamps are from Pl. 3/5 R, the sheet also shows all 12 "R over Se" varieties. The sheet is folded vertically in the centre and horiz. below the 3^rd, 5^th and 7^th rows; there is virtually no splitting. Minute specks of light ageing affect 8 stamps. This is in all probability the finest complete sheet surving intact. SG 44, Mi. 9II, Hib. T39/T39-V56, cat €23,000 as single stamps.
