1937-52 KGVI VERY FINE USED - SPECIALISED COLLECTION displayed neatly in an album, this fine collection shows very fine c.d.s. used stamps, arranged by issue, the fastidious collector also sought out additional covers to illustrate the use of the definitives (several censored WWII period), as well as First Day Covers, these often illustrated. The collection begins with the 1937-40 definitives set with additional shades of high values to 10r, plus 9p & 1a used on illustrated FDC, 1949-52 & 1950-1 defins sets complete plus 5r, 10r & 15r shades. The collection also includes a fine range of OFFICIALS incl. 1937-9, 1939-42 & 1950-1 sets. We also see some super commemorative stamp items from 1946 Victory set in blocks of four, 1948 Airmail First Flight cover with a block of four, 1948 Independence Gandhi set plus low values used on covers incl. first day, 1949 UPU on two different illustrated FDCs plus the set in blocks of four, 1950 Republic set on FDC through to 1952 Saints & Poets set on illustrated FDC.
