1840 - 1986 WELL- FILLED USED COLLECTION displayed in two SG "Windsor Sovereign" albums in slip- cases, most pages well- filled with used stamps from the 1840 1d blacks (3) & 2d blue, the perforated 'stars' incl inverted wmk, some attractive stamps cat £100's; surface printed issues begin with the 1855-57 4d carmines (4) incl wmk Large Garter on deeply blued SG 62, also Medium Garter SG 64, 6d lilacs (8) including Azure paper SG 70a, wmk inverted SG 70Wi, 1s greens (2) and onwards with all issues well- represented including good showings of the different plate numbers available on many different stamps, high values include the 1867 5s pale rose SG 127, 1883-84 2s6d on blued SG 175, 2s6d (2), 5s (2) & 10s (2), plus much else; KEVII comprehensive ranges of the different printings to De La Rue & Somerset House 10s 'blues'; KGV plenty including 14 Seahorses with Waterlow 10s indigo SG 402, De La Rue 2s6d deep yellow- brown & grey- brown SG 405 & 407, 5s bright carmine SG 409, etc; KGVI & QEII very well- filled. We also see a good array of QV/KEVII Official overprints at the back!
