TOO LATE AND LATE FEE POSTMARKS COLLECTION 1847-1922 a wonderful and very good quality collection of covers and cards written up on pages with many to overseas destinations, commencing with 1847 fancy Glasgow "Too Late", 1857 and 1867 entires with additional 1d stamps applied at left, 1855 & 1856 envelopes with London duplex with indented corners, circular double arc "TOO LATE G.P.O." 1854 & 1855, thimble type 1859 & 1867, small double ring 1850, Too Late London duplex types, 1882 Dublin Late Fee duplex, boxed "L" with numbers in red or black, later boxed "Late Fee Paid", "Posted too late", various London octagonal duplex with L codes, 1900 circular Too Late F.B. G.P.O.", Belfast "Late Fee Paid/62", London Hooded circles with L1D codes, scarce Liverpool Sta Late Box 1887 hooded circle etc, a splendid lot that would make an excellent basis for a fine display, see scans.
