"on johore government service" envelope (with embossed headed letter) from the State Secretary of Johore Bahru and signed on front by "A.Rahman" addressed to Louis Katz Singapore, showing "johore bahru" c.d.s. in red with arrival d.s. on reverse. Also several other interesting items related to this hunting permit 1) 1904 (13 July) Singapore permit for Mr P. Luyken for the possession of ammunition showing large circular "licensing officer/Crown/arms act" cachet in violet, 2) letter contents Johore Bahru 2 Feb. 1904 with official embossed seal of the state secretary "permit to shoot wild pigs ..." 3) letter contents Johore Bahru 11 August 1904 with official embossed seal of the state secretary "shooting pass extended for another three month...yours truly Mohamed" 4) a contempary newspaper cut out "A rare malay pig recently shot by Mr T.C Romenij in Pulan Battam...a species new to thew Malay Peninsula..."Sus oi". A interesting selection of RARE JOHORE OFFICIAL MAIL related to hunting.

Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
