1937-52 KGVI VERY FINE USED - AWESOME SPECIALISED COLLECTION! presented in an album, displayed on expertly annotated album pages this amazing collection shows very fine c.d.s. used stamps, arranged by issue and then by printing date (the excellent Potter & Shelton guide list to this country is included), for example we see the myriad of printings of the 1938-50 defins set have all been identified, many of these are not listed in SG. This fastidious collector also added attractive covers he considered would enhance the collection, especially amongst the commemorative issues incl. First Day Covers, often illustrated. The collection begins with the 1937-50 ¼d values, then 1938-50 Pictorials defins closely studied with all values carefully identified by printing & shade, includes good 2½d perf.12½x13½, 10s x11 different, continues with 1951 defins set, some defins used on covers, range of Postage Dues incl. 1952 decimals set, continues with some lovely commemorative stamp items from 1937 Coronation incl. three different FDCs incl. illustrated, 1949 UPU on illustrated FDC plus the set in blocks of four through to 1951 B.W.I.
