POSTAL HISTORY & COVERS AN ALADDIN'S CAVE OF COVERS & POSTMARKS some written up and housed in FOUR albums, some loose in packets, clearly from the home of a dedicated collector, mostly KGVI period onwards to 2001, includes quantity of commercial mail, official mail with stampless OHMS covers, numerous first day covers with two volumes of sets & miniature sheets on FDC, plus a good number cancelled at different offices, or from different outlying islands, c.1950 Red Cross label affixed to reverse of a cover, "Postage Paid" marks, special cancels, POSTMARKS on stamps include AUKI, GATUVU, LUNGA, SHORTLAND ISLANDS and more, also ephemera such as forms from philatelic services and a "Certificate of Inspection," also books & publications incl. "The Postal History of The British Solomon Islands & Tonga" by Proud. Loose, or haphazardly arranged, which makes us wonder what we might have missed!
