OFFICIALS 1926-50 FINE MINT COLLECTION - NUMBER OF OVERPRINT VARIETIES - includes 1926 2d, ½d & 1d; 1928-30 2d with both spacings & 6d; 1929-31 1d & 6d with a range of ovpt varieties, we note 6d in corner marginal (control) block of 4 with colon for "I" in "OFFISIEEL" and ".OFFISIEEL" (stop at beginning) variety, also Stop varieties on English & Afrikaans stamps and 1s & 2s6d (SG O10/11); 1930-47 all values incl. ½d & 1d Stop varieties on both Eng & Afr stamps, plus several broken letters on these values, ½d Dollar "$" variety, 2d with additional shades & ovpt varieties, 6d 1s both spacings plus both 2s6d colours; 1935-49 all values to 1s incl. nice downwards shift of ovpt on 1d, 1½d with wmks upright & inverted plus blue-green shade, 6d all three dies, 1s additional specialised shades (listed in Union Handbook), 2d ovpt upwards; 1937-44 ½d shades and ovpt up & down (SG O31a, O32), 1944-50 1½d different spacings and ovpt upwards (SG O34); 1947-9 2d both shades; 1949-50 ½d & 1s (SG O37/8).
