1930-52 AWESOME FINE USED COLLECTION principally a KGVI collection, neatly written up in an album, we see definitives in correct horizontal pairs (where applicable) and arranged in value order, hence we see the different versions of each value grouped together, from 1930-44, 1933-48 & 1947-54 definitive issues, plus the additional issues for example, 1937-40 ½d (SG 75c/cd) & 1945-7 2d (SG 107, a/b), both Large & Bantam War Effort definitives are included, with a number of extra shades. We note 1930-44 2d blue & violet, 3d black & red wmk inverted, 6d wmk upright, 1s both wmks upright & inverted, 2s6d green & brown, 1933-48 2d blue & violet (shades) plus scarce 2d grey & dull purple, 6d die I, 1s several shades, 5s x3 shades, ½d 1948 re-print (SG 126), 1947-54 5s both shades, also see a few items of postal history, the collection continues with some attractive commemorative stamp items, we note 1937 Coronation on illustrated first day cover, 1938 Voortrekker sets with both sets on large, illustrated Monument FDC and KLM First Flight cover, from 1945 Victory all sets include an illustrated FDC, note 1952 Van Riebeeck set on cover with Dutch set also affixed.
