1937-52 KGVI VERY FINE USED - AWESOME SPECIALISED COLLECTION! displayed on expertly annotated album pages in an album, this amazing collection shows very fine c.d.s. used stamps, with 1938-51 definitives arranged by issue (perforations) and then by printing date (the excellent Potter & Shelton guide list to this country is included), this fastidious collector also sought out several covers to show the defins use (incl. FDC with 5 values to 3d), plus values to 2s with "FIELD POST OFFICE" cancels, in order to enhance the collection. We begin with the 1938-51 Pictorial defins closely studied with all values carefully identified by perforation, printing & shade, incl. 1½d carmine P.14, 2d grey P.13½ wmk sideways, 1s black & green P.14 x2, 2s (at least 20) with P.14 & P.13½ examples, 5s (at least 12) incl. P.14, 10s x6 incl. P.14 & £1 x4. Collection continues with some lovely commemorative stamp items from 1937 Coronation incl. set in blocks of four and on FDC incl. illustrated, 1948 Royal Silver Wedding set, 1949 UPU on FDC and 1950 "New Constitution" ovpts set in blocks of four and four FDCs each franked with a single value in a block of four.
