All different mint & used stamps on hand-painted pages, each with a lovely watercolour painting at top depicting German scenes & folklore and ornamental borders, the original work of Knud Damborg painted in 1954. Includes 1872 Small Shield to 5g & 18k and Large Shield set to 2g used, 1874 "2½" on 2½g used, 1924 Welfare set mint, 1925-1929 all Arms sets mint, 1928-31 Air Zeppelin set used, 1930 & 1932 Buildings sets used, 1933 Wagner set mint, 1934 Air set (ex 80pf) used & Workers set mint, 1935 Costumes set mint, 1936 Olympics m/s's mint, 1939 "Nurburgring" opts set mint, 1940 42pf Brown Ribbon mint, 1942-44 Hitler to 5rm used. Stamps generally in good condition, all about forty illustrated pages in very fine condition.
