1872 THREE-COUNTRY MIXED FRANKING:
Triple rate mourning cover from Buenos Aires, February 28, 1872, to Domodossola, ITALY, franked by Argentina 1868 5c. vermilion and 10c. green (Sc. 18A, 20) tied by Buenos Aires OM cds and France 1868 Napoleon 80c. (two singles) and 1870 Bordeaux issue 80c. tied by anchor cancel, carried by s/s "Sindh", with red boxed "AFFRANCHISSMENT/INSUFFICANT" (applied at Bordeaux arrival), also with exchange mark "F.*56" in blue and charged "30", paid by Italian postage dues 1l. brown/blue vertical strip of three tied by numeral "245" of destination. The cover with respective transit datestamps on reverse was opened and reduced at top, and a negligible highly professional repair to the cover does not detract. ONE OF ONLY TWO COVERS RECORDED and by far, THE MOST IMPRESSIVE. Signed by several experts as Diena and Calves. ÷ FRANQUEO MIXTO, TRES PAÍSES:
Sobre de luto de Buenos Aires, del 28 de febrero de 1872, a Domodossola, Italia. Sellos de Argentina Yv 18 y 19 con matasello Buenos Aires OM y Sello de Francia Yv 32(2) y 49 con matasello ancla. Por Vapor SINDH con AFFRANCHISSMENT INSUFFISANT rectangular. de llegada a Burdeos. Marca de intercambio "F.*56" y tasa Italiana 30 satisfecha con tira de 3 sellos de tasas de Italia de 1 Lira con matasello numeral 245 de destino. El sobre tiene una ligera reparación, muy profesional. Sin lugar a dudas, EL MEJOR DE LOS CONOCIDOS. Garantías Diena, Calvés etc.
