BRITISH POST OFFICES IN ALEXANDRIA 1871 (May) cover to Washington DC via Brindisi, and bearing 1d red plate 120 x2, 2d blue plate 13, and 4d vermilion plate 12, these all tied by "BO1" cancellations, with Alexandria cds alongside, plus London transit, New York Paid All and 2/Cents (these all in red) on address side. There is a vertical crease through the 4d at left and some rough opening, but still attractive with a lovely array of markings.
