1941. An old 50b red/chamois parcel card from the kingdom of Yugoslavia accompanying a 2 kg. parcel to a carpentry business in ZIVNICE, nr TUZLA, additionally franked 10D lilac-brown (Michel 46) of “FRANCO” provisional issue, tied by “ZAGREB 1/ 34/ 16.VI.41”, an additional strike and old style parcel label alongside (interestingly the Cyrillic text is undisturbed). Overprint shifted to right on this example, which is a very seldom seen single franking using the FRANCO provisionals, at reverse “ZIVNICE 1/ 18.VI.41” arrival pmk. Dr. J. VELICKOVIC cert. #3599/87.

Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
