1941-46 FPO'S OF THE CANADIAN 1ST TO 5TH INFANTRY DIVISIONS. A fascinating collection of WWII covers & cards presented in two albums, many items bearing Censor marks or Censor tape from various Field Post Offices throughout Europe that the Canadian 1st to 5th Infantry Divisions were stationed at. We see a range of commercially printed covers, plain covers, "On Active Service" printed envelopes, Air Letter postal Stationary, mostly posted to Canada from various FPO's in the UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany & Italy, often intact with letter contents (these photocopied & opposite covers), plus a map on each page indicating where the FPO is located.
