1874 Large part of cover sent from Buenos Aires to Bodeaux per steamer "Geronde", franked by 1868 'Rivadavia' 5c. two pairs and single, tied by "J" in diamond, IN COMBINATION WITH FRENCH 1872 80c. strip of four plus single tied by 'Anchor' in diamond of dots, with blue sender oval, red boxed "PD" and octagonal "BUÉNOS-AYRES PAQ.FR. J. No.2/11/JUIL/74" d/s alongside, Bordeaux '5 Aout 74' arrival c.d.s. on the reverse. Cover with missing part of back and refolded, a horiz. fold affecting two of the 5c., and minor imperfections, but still good appearance, and A VERY RARE MIXED FRANKING. Signed by A. Brun.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
