A mű illusztrációi a François Boucher, Charles Eisen és Hubert François Gravelot rézmetszeteivel és könyvdíszeivel 1757-ben megjelent londoni Boccaccio-kiadás után készültek. Kiadói papírkötés, a borítókon műanyag védőfólia, a borítók kopottak, a II. kötet borítója és kötése szakadt, sérült, a III. kötet borítója sérült, viseltes, elvált a kötésétől, de belül jó állapotban.
