The motor vehicle industry was established in 1954 under the name Moto installation. License is produced vehicles of the German DKW. Since 1958 it operated under the name of IMV. Between 1967 and 1972, IMV, in collaboration with British Leyland Motor Company (their most famous model was Mini Moris) License assembled passenger cars brand Austin, from 1973 onwards, running collaboration with the Renault factory in which they are composed in Novo Mesto models Renault 4 Renault 12, Renault 18, Renault 5 and Renault Clio. Since 1989, the company is wholly owned by French company Renault, also in 1992 abandoned the brand name IMV. The company has since been appointed by REVOZ (Renault vehicles).
