Baïonnette couteau à utiliser avec le calibre .30 U.S. Carbine M1. La baïonnette est une baïonnette d'épée M1891 modifiée, anciennement utilisée avec le 7,65 mm. Fusil Mauser péruvien M1891. Modifications de la baïonnette incluses : — Raccourcissement de la lame. —Remplacement de la traverse d'origine. — Allonger la poignée en déplaçant la traverse de 0,375 po (10 mm) plus loin le long de la lame. —Remplacement des échelles de préhension d'origine. — Meulage d'une encoche de dégagement dans le pommeau.

Produced by W&K. SOLINGEN Dimensions 320-198mm. Hallmarks on the blade W&K SOLINGEN and 0035. Sheath numbers S0349 and 162.Knife bayonet for use with the caliber .30 U.S. Carbine M1. The bayonet is a modified M1891 sword bayonet, formerly used with the 7.65 mm. Peruvian M1891 Mauser rifle. Modifications to the bayonet included: —Shortening the blade. —Replacing the original crosspiece. —Lengthening the hilt by moving the crosspiece .375 in. (10 mm.) farther along the blade. —Replacing the the original grip scales. —Grinding a clearance notch in the pommel.
