If the mail got lost, there is insurance?
That was envelope that incide was rare coins.
Until how much money it is possible to claim?
Thanke you.
There is only insurance if it was paid for and sent 'Internationally signed for' or if it was really expensive item it would have to go 'International data post'....to send this way is REALLY REALLY expensive !
If you click on this link you can find out the info, just put in the aprox weight of the packet

It send surface, and friend of mine tell me that ther is insurance up to
36GBP.
Is it is true?
Yes, normal un-insured surface mail max compensation payout is £36
A bit of advice Ahar...
NEVER, EVER , EVER, GO SURFACE MAIL FROM THE UK !
For the sake of saving a couple of pounds make it AIRMAIL...anytime....EVERYTIME
Royal Mail state that it can take FROM 56 days for surface mail to reach it's destination....that word 'FROM' is the killer !
I have only ever sent one surface mail and that was from here (UK) to Poland and it took just over 5 months !!!....It was a complete nightmare transaction from start to finish....the buyer wanted to save just over .40p by sending it surface mail...it took an eternity and when it did arrive it arrived dammaged...itlooked like it swam across the English Channel and walked the way itself.....I completly refuse surface mail now
Also Ahar...if it was expensive then why on earth didn't you pay for insurance and also send it Airmail ?
As a pointer Ahar....I sold an item last month (on the 'other' site) to Lebanon and it went Airmail....they got it 2 days later ....I couldn't believe it !!
I paid for the coins and for the shipping by PayPal.
I send a claim to the Royal mail in the email. The email was sent to Royal mail and to the seller at once.
The seller donwt respond.
Ahar...
You DON'T file the claim with Royal Mail, your SELLER does....It's the seller who is responsible for the claim and don't let them tell you any different
If you haven't paid for insurance then just hope the seller sent it with a 'proof of post' certificate from the post office otherwise the seller won't be able to make a claim
How long ago are we talking here since you paid with Paypal ????

Royal Mail will not help you as you did not send the item, they will only deal with the SENDER of the item
I would file a dispute with Paypal, but I think it might be a bit late ???

Hello Ahar.
Sorry, I just cannot understand what you are trying to tell us.
This letter that came Not Registered, - What letter was that?
It cannot be the coins, as you say they have not arrived.
it cannot be the copy receipt, as you say that was sent by e-mail.
Where does ebay come into the matter.? If you bought the coins on ebay why bring up the matter here?
We want to help. but your whole story is just too cufusing.
