A lot the postcards I buy come from sellers in France, but some live in Switzerland. I have been buying postcards for over five years and have never had a problem. Until yesterday. When I tried to place a bid on a postcard being sold by a Swiss gentleman, a notice appeared in the 'Bid Now' box saying that this member did not want to sell postcards outside Switzerland and because I was not registered in Switzerland, I could not place a bid. So I contacted the gentleman concerned, he knew nothing about the notice and informed me that he sells all over the world. I know he does. I have bought from him before. The item concerned is #36754715
Anybody got any suggestions?

Hello.
I presume your Swiss seller clicked by mistake on the "my own country only" in his introductory panel. And since few days (see the Boss messages), if you have clicked on that device it is NOW impossible to have a contact with someone outside of your own country. So everybody should check his/her sale conditions.
Sorry for the mistakes, I am no English native speaker

Good explanation, Houtesiplout. Here is a link to the article. Link (http)
Sellers should double-check their parameters.

Thank you for your replies Chaps. Houtesiplout - you may not be a native English speaker, but your English is very good. I am trying to break down the language barrier a little by learning French. I am in my second year. I wish my French was as good as your English!
I will contact the seller and ask him to read the News for April, which is something I too should have done.
